Window Resource affiliates, franchisees, and participating providers, including to respond to your requests, coordinate services, route inquiries to the appropriate location, support operations, and provide information about services. We also disclose your contact information and inquiry details to our affiliated companies as marketing leads so that those affiliates may market and contact you about their own products and services.

 

Service providers and vendors, such as website hosting providers, payment processors, scheduling tools, email and text messaging providers, analytics providers, marketing platforms, customer support providers, data storage providers, security vendors, and professional advisors. These parties may use personal information to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law.

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. However, we disclose personal information to our affiliated companies for those affiliates’ own marketing purposes, and some state privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” broadly enough to include certain of these disclosures, including the disclosure of contact information to affiliates for marketing and of internet or device information to advertising or analytics partners. Where required by law, we provide the ability to opt out of these activities.

 

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

We do not have control over how information gathered by third-party Cookies is used by third parties.

Global Privacy Control. You can use the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) through a supported browser to signal certain of your opt-out preferences. You may opt-out of the processing of your personal information for purposes of targeted advertising or certain sales of your personal information by broadcasting the Global Privacy Control Signal through a supported browser. If you use the GPC, we will process your request for your browser, but it will not apply outside of that browser to your device. You will need to use the GPC for each browser you use to access the website If you clear your cookies in your browser after using the GPC, you will need to use the GPC again for us to process your opt out for that browser.

 

Pixel Tracking. We incorporate “pixels” provided by one or more companies, e.g., Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook), X (formerly Twitter), Google, Yelp, etc., on our website. This enables us to track user behavior after a user clicks on an ad (e.g., one from Facebook) and is redirected to our website. By doing so, we can assess the effectiveness of the ads for statistical and market research purposes and sometimes retarget certain users. Please note that the data collected through this process remains anonymous to us, meaning we do not have access to personal data of individual users. However, that pixel provider stores and processes this data. Therefore, we are providing you with this information based on our current understanding. It is important to be aware that the pixel provider may associate this information with your account with that pixel provider and utilize it for its own promotional activities, in accordance with its data usage policy. You have the option to authorize the pixel provider and its partners to display advertisements on and off that company’s website pages. Additionally, a cookie may be stored on your computer for these purposes.

 

 

Google Analytics.  We use Google Analytics to collect and process information about your use of the website. Google sets cookies on your browser or device, and then your web browser will automatically send information to Google. Google uses this information to provide us with reports that we use to better understand and measure how users interact with our website.

We are not responsible for the policies or practices of third parties. We cannot control a third-party’s collection or use of any information. 8. Children’s Privacy

 

The website is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
